Associate Principal, Plumbing Technical Leader - Agile Operations

I’ve appreciated the trust to take on increasing responsibility over time, the focus on continuous improvement, and the chance to help develop more efficient and coordinated ways of working through our Agile Operations approach. Most of all, it’s the people and the culture of accountability, support, and shared purpose that make HEAPY a place I’m proud to be part of. 

I’m a Plumbing Technical Leader at HEAPY, where I focus on connecting technical design expertise with effective team execution. I collaborate with design managers to coordinate Agile work through the Agile Operations Hub and lead Team Captains in planning and delivering plumbing engineering efforts so teams are aligned and efficient.

I’ve been with HEAPY for more than 17 years, starting as a Mechanical Engineer and building a strong foundation in Plumbing system design across healthcare and complex facilities. That hands-on experience continues to shape my leadership approach, with an emphasis on practical solutions and strong execution.

Prior to HEAPY, I worked in CAD design and served over nine years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Staff Sergeant, including a deployment to Iraq. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Miami University while working and serving in the military.
